The first sentence is a bit weird: “We fought with 3 skeletons, but my team was more powerful”. This “but” doesn’t really seem to suit the sentence at all.
The second sentence is a slightly mis-used て-form. But this is more my fault than it is yours. I’ll be sure to talk about this in class.
The target of chasing should get an を.
